Greg Fury joins Signapps as Chairman

In June 2020 Greg Fury was appointed as non-executive director and Chairman of the board of Healthcent. Greg studied English, Law, Economics (BA LLB MA) at UCT and Cambridge. Greg is an executive director and founder of Targe Capital, a private equity investment firm. He was previously the COO of leading asset management firm Allan Gray Limited from 2003 to 2009. Before that he worked in the corporate finance division of Investec Bank for 8 years, advising on mergers and acquisitions, fund raising and proprietary investments. He brings experience in investment management, corporate finance and operational management to Targe Capital and its portfolio companies.

Greg says, “I was introduced to Healthcent and Andrew some time ago and hugely excited by Signapps and impressed by the team he had assembled to do this. I was therefore delighted to be invited to participate in the latest round of investment and to join the team, albeit as a non-executive Chairman. Seldom does one have the opportunity to be invested and involved in a business that both promises great benefits to health workers and patients alike and the prospects of substantial growth and returns. I look forward to a long and successful engagement with Andrew and his team.”

Andrew, CEO and co-founder of Signapps, says “We are delighted to have Greg on board as Chairman. He brings a wealth of corporate and entrepreneurial experience to the mix. Greg’s background and belief in our vision of transforming communication in healthcare made him a natural fit for our business.”
